What happened?

This remarkable young man was the victim of smoke inhalation in a tragic house fire in Oakland, California.

Brad was a senior at U.C. Berkeley and from his first days in the fall of 1996, he knew that he was exactly where he wanted to be.

His brothers received his degree in his stead from the University of California at the graduation ceremony at Berkeley in May, 2001.
